Screenr: Video Capture Your Screen and Instantly Tweet or Embed
Oct 21st

screenr is a screen capture program that runs right from a browser – no other software needed. It works as advertised and is a free service. If you need to demonstrate how to use a program, demonstrate a website or anything that happens on your computer screen, this is a great option!
You can drag a little Bookmarklet to your browser bar and click it anytime you want to record something on your screen. Nice. I can see using this to do simple tutorials for iTunes or WordPress.
You can instantly post your video / screencast to Twitter, YouTube, or anywhere you like … say, your blog post, for instance. Screenr Video I made after the break … More >

MailChimp.com – FREE Email Newsletters for Your Church
Sep 22nd

The graphic says it all. If you have less than 1000 email addresses and you send less than 6000 emails each month – you just found your new email newsletter service. It is brilliant. We could say more, but the website really does a great job of explaining the service and new features. Visit. Sign up. You’re welcome.

Google Notebook to Evernote
Jan 29th

I know I’m late in the game, but Google announced that Google Notebook will go away in the future.
I suggest using Evernote as a solution. Evernote is very easy to capture things off of the web and then add your ideas. You can journal and much much more. Also Evernote has an Google Notebook import for those who don’t want to re-enter anything. Very cool! And it’s free. (They have premium edition that gives you more features and better experience, but the free account is fine for basic capturing functions)
Here how Evernote works…
I believe it is very important in ministry to get your ideas out of your head and on to paper or a electronic document of some sort. So develop some system and stick to it!
